What we collect

We collect only what we need to build and run your website.

• Account details — your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider; we never see them.
• Your brief — the business information, page content, contact details and preferences you enter in the intake form.
• Files you upload — logos, images and other brand assets, and attachments on edit requests.
• Order and support history — orders, messages you send us, design previews, edit requests and consultation bookings.
• Billing records — what you were charged and whether it succeeded. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and never reach our systems.
• Email delivery events — whether an email we sent you was delivered, opened or bounced.
• Site activity — pages viewed and actions taken while signed in, so we can support you and spot problems.
• Analytics — aggregate visitor statistics from Plausible, which does not use cookies and does not track people across sites.

Why we collect it

To build your site, run your plan, take payment, answer your questions, keep the service secure, and meet our record-keeping obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Marketing emails

We will send you emails about your order and your plan, because you need them. We will only send marketing email if you have agreed to it, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link that works.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers, and they only get what they need to do their job:

• Supabase — database, file storage and authentication.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Plausible — cookieless website analytics.
• Our hosting provider — serving the website itself.
• Advertising platforms — for AurixSEO clients only, and only the campaign data needed to run the campaigns you have asked for.

Where your information is stored

Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia. By using the service you accept that your information may be handled overseas, where privacy laws may differ from Australian law. We choose providers with recognised security practices.

How long we keep it

We keep your account, order and billing records while you are a client and afterwards for as long as we need them for tax, legal and dispute-resolution purposes. Uploaded assets are kept while your site is with us. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

Security

Access to client data is restricted to the people who need it. Data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise — if a breach occurs that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the OAIC as the law requires.

Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email hello@aurixsites.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your information, email hello@aurixsites.com and we will investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to remember essential preferences. Our analytics does not use cookies. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
