Terms of Service
Last updated 22 September 2026.
What we supply
We design and build websites on fixed packages, host them, and offer ongoing care and marketing services. What is included in each package is set out on our pricing page at the time you order, and that page forms part of these terms.
Scope and packages
Each package has a fixed page count, a fixed number of revision rounds and a fixed edit window after launch. Work outside the package you bought is quoted separately before it is done — we will not add charges to an invoice without telling you first.
Builds of ten pages or more are quoted individually rather than sold as a package.
Prices and payment
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
Starter is paid in full before work begins. Growth and Premium may be split 50/50 — half on order, half before launch — if you arrange it with us by email before checkout.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
What we need from you
We build from the brief you submit. If content is not ready we will build with placeholder content so the project is not held up, and swap in your real text and images free within 14 days of launch.
You are responsible for making sure any text, images, logos or other material you give us is yours to use, or that you have permission to use it. You keep ownership of that material.
Ownership of the finished site
Once you have paid in full, the website we build for you is yours. You can take it elsewhere — we will export the codebase and content and hand it over, with no exit fee.
We keep ownership of the underlying tools, components and systems we use to build sites, which are not specific to you and are reused across our work.
Hosting and domains
Every package includes 12 months of hosting, SSL and custom domain setup. After the first 12 months, hosting is $15 a month, or it is covered by an AurixCare plan. Domain renewal is $25 a year, and is free while you are on AurixCare.
Domains are registered in your name wherever the registrar allows it. If you leave, the domain goes with you.
AurixCare
AurixCare is a rolling plan covering hosting, SSL, security patches, daily backups, uptime monitoring and unlimited small edits, taken one at a time. It is billed monthly or annually, the first month is free, and you can cancel at any time.
An edit is one bundled change of up to roughly 15 minutes of work. Edits beyond your included credits are charged at the rates shown on the AurixCare page.
AurixSEO — search and advertising
AurixSEO is a separate arm of the business covering search optimisation and paid advertising. It is not open yet. When it launches, it works as follows.
Search and generative-engine optimisation is a monthly subscription. We run the work; you pay a recurring fee. It is a service commitment, not a promise of a particular ranking — nobody can promise that, and we will not.
Paid advertising on Meta is charged as a management fee for running your campaigns. Advertising spend is separate from our fee and is your cost, paid to the advertising platform. We will always show you what our fee is and what your spend is, as separate figures.
Where campaigns run in an advertising account, that account is yours. We take access to it rather than owning it, so your campaign history and conversion data stay with you if you leave.
Results
We do not guarantee sales, traffic, rankings, ad performance or any other business outcome. We guarantee the work described in your package, done properly.
Acceptable use
We will not build or run campaigns for anything unlawful, deceptive, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may decline or stop work that falls into that, and will tell you why.
Third-party services
Sites and campaigns we build rely on third-party services — hosting, payment processing, email delivery, advertising platforms and analytics among them. Those services have their own terms and their own outages. We choose them carefully but we do not control them.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits or removes those rights.
Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our liability for any claim is limited to resupplying the service or refunding what you paid for it, at our option. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost business.
Ending the agreement
You can cancel a build or a plan under our Refund and Cancellation Policy. We may end an engagement if invoices go unpaid, or if the work falls outside acceptable use. If we end it, we will refund anything you have paid for work not yet done.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. For ongoing plans, we will give you reasonable notice of material changes before they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction.
